My art is for anyone who appreciates subtleties of color. Color is my passion--the glow of the evening or morning light transforming an ordinary scene into a glowing, magical, evocative bit of time and place. I make fleeting light into a permanent object, frozen and framed into something separate and beautiful. The way the lines bisect the page makes a kind if sense to me. A similar pattern and color aesthetic is repeated in my photos. I am first drawn to the color of the subject, and then look for the lines. That combination is the special circumstance that triggers my brain to make an image.
