Hello, my name is Hallie Heald, and I am a southerner without an accent, living and working in NYC as a freelance illustrator & stylist.

My degree is in studio art, and for 365 days (Sep 2013-14), I painted a series of daily 12x12" gouache illustrations.

Previously, I've worked as an intern for NY designer: Nanette Lepore, was an assistant designer and stylist for Freedom of Animals (faux leather handbags), an assistant visual display artist at Anthropologie (AL & CA), and a face painter for fancy birthday parties in Santa Barbara.

Currently, I am painting private commissions, styling for various company campaigns and lookbooks, assisting on still life shoots at Macy's and styling at Splashlight Studios, for brands like Victoria's Secret, DKNY, and Theory.
