Kristina Garland, better known as Trooper, is a local mixed artist splitting her time between MDI(Mount Desert Island) and the Down east regions of Maine. Her oeuvre includes drawings, water colors, textiles and more. Trooper brings her decades as a professional outdoors woman into her art, often exploring themes of nature, adventure, and humanity's evolving relationship with the world around us.
