Maddie is an artist based in Berkeley, California where she is currently a sophomore in the College of Natural Resources at the University of California, Berkeley. Maddie grew up in the foothills of Colorado and studied visual art at Denver School of the Arts for seven years. Maddie is an experienced painter with a previous focus on landscapes, cityscapes and still life painting. She currently studies Society and Environment with a focus on Environmental Justice and Sustainability and a minor in Food Systems. Her current work focuses on her passion for sustainable agriculture through her food paintings and illustrations, and her menu design for local organic restaurants.
