Manisha Khandelwal is an international artist and philanthropist, painting and experimenting with watercolors for the past several years. She began her career as a Graphic Designer in India, moved to Dubai, and worked there for 12 years, currently in Toronto. Manisha believes what is meant for you will find a way to you. While working with the interior design industry in Dubai, she visited many art exhibitions and was mesmerizingly drawn to the various artifacts displayed and their capacity to completely change the mood and vibes of a place. They had the power to connect lifeless things and weave a story around them, to bring lush greens into a dry desert-like room, to play a lively rhythm in an awkward quiet space. This led to a re-discovery of her passion to paint, to play with colors and forms on a two-dimensional plane. What she found more inspiring was the realization that the process of creating art was more fulfilling than the completed artwork itself, the interaction of the artist with the colors and shapes during the creative process was purely blissful! An avid traveler, her travel experiences have a big influence on her work. Meeting people and connecting with them, she learned that spreading her love for art with other art enthusiasts and incepting them into this magnificent world through teaching is her true calling.
