I am a mutimedia artist. I have been drawing since I was a kid. I have been painting since middle school. I work primarily in oils, and colored pencil, but also enjoy acrylics, ink, and pencil. I love to take photographs of anything that catches my eye, and have a lot of photos that need to be turned into prints. I grew up in Montana. I attempted to attend the university in Bozeman, but I was not ready. So, I was drafted in 1969 much to my father's dismay. Twenty one years later I have had the good forture to have lived in four different countries: United States, Korea, Iran, and Germany. I retired in 1990, and my wife went to work so I could go back to school (no small task considering I was 42 years old). I have a BFA in Fine Art and an MA in Art Education from the University of Arizona. I taught fine art at a local high school for thirteen years until retiring in 2006. I was recruited in December of 2008 to work as an English Conversation teacher (I know...quite a jump) for a well known middle school in Wonju, South Korea. My home (artistically speaking) is in southern Arizona. Most recently I spent a year teaching and living at Shandong University of Science & Technology, Qingdao City, Shandong Province, China.
