My photography focus is primarily nature and wildlife. I have a strong passion for the outdoors, capturing images that help preserve the numerous public lands and all that they offer. My travels take me all over the western united states to the common and not so common places. Many of my photos concentrate on the National Parks of Glacier, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, and Arches National Parks. The Pacific Northwest is my stomping grounds. I travel all over Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and my home state of Washington where I live in the world famous Palouse farmland.

The biggest challenge for me is how to create and image that will communicate with my audience without using any words. I hope that when someone views my images, they will be pulled in and feel what I was at that moment. The crisp fall air, the waves of the ocean crashing on the beach or the sounds of birds chirping as the sun is rising over a mountain lake.
