Underwater Dream IV Wood Wall Art

The wood Wall Art is super cool, printed in a way that looks like it has been painted onto the wood panels with subtle wood grain coming through. The colors are vibrant and saturated. I haven’t put it up yet since it’s for my new home, but the included template seems like it will help a lot since all separate panels have key holes on the back. I can’t imagine any other way to get a 4’ or 5’ art piece for this price. Incredible value. Also the print itself is breathtaking, especially if you like octopus.

The first item I received was damaged because of the way it was packaged. The printing was also inconsistent. I explained the issues and a replacement was sent. The printing problem has been resolved, but these heavy wooden pieces were still shipped with painted surfaces against each other with no protection whatsoever between them. I was pretty surprised nothing had changed in this regard. Consequently the replacement pieces also had scuffs on the painted surfaces as a result. Just by chance they weren’t quite as bad this time and I didn’t want any more hassle so I hung the pieces up and I will just live with it. What a shame to keep sending these otherwise nice pieces with no protection in between them for the paint. The printing is impressive but not when damaged. I simply won’t be buying anything more like this. Customer service was really great when it comes to response and sending replacements but the problems also need to be resolved. One thing I also wasn’t impressed with is that the edges of the boards are just plain wood. Not painted at all. I realize this would be a separate process from the printing but it would look so much better. I wouldn’t normally complain about this as I can paint the sides myself but perhaps it’s worth mentioning. I’ve purchased other items from Society6 in the past and I think it’s a great company overall but unfortunately I won’t be purchasing any more wooden art panels.
