William Morris Compton Floral Art Nouveau Pattern Throw Blanket

I wanted a warm, soft blanket with a pretty print for my couch that would also help hide the black hairs from my very sweet and snuggly black “pocket lab”. I could find nothing in stores. Everything was solid, or plaid, or holiday… or just plain ugly. I also wanted a medium-sized print that would go with the large scale dark yellow art nouveau pattern of the rug in the room as well as the room’s overall color scheme. Yes, it was way too much to ask! But then I remembered how much I love the prints of William Morris and how they would be a great style for the room…and how Society Six had soooo many prints to choose from. And after a short search…wa lah! Perfection! I paid about twice (if you include shipping) that I would’ve on the things I was seeing in stores, but this blanket and the way it so perfectly suits the room (and hides the dog hair!) makes me happy every time I look at it. It’s also comfy, and soft and beautifully printed!

So cool that we are ordering 2 more!
