My name is Nacer, and for more than 30 years, I have been involved with art, art history, painting and creating images, using both classical techniques in drawing, watercolor and acrylic, and the new techniques in digital drawing. Chance and unforeseen events reveal themselves as each work progresses, ending up impressing on me their creative relevance, their rendering and their positive effect on the forms themselves, the drawings and the colors. The Mediterranean area, the Greek islands, in particular, is my source of visual inspiration, the materials with which I work quite freely, spontaneously and intuitively, ensuring that the forms drawn or painted, are at one with the rather special atmosphere, producing singular creations.

My name is Katerina and for me, painting is an opportunity to travel near and far, here and elsewhere, through its forms, colors, and shadows and lights, with the help of a pencil and paintbrush. It is on this artistic and aesthetic journey that you are invited to follow me. My paintings are able to serve as bridges through this multitude of here and elsewhere of which life is made, the world and the whole creation of mankind.

Our friendship

Our friendship dates back more than thirty years, from the time of our university studies in Paris where we shared our free time to draw and paint all kinds of perceived or imagined images, seeking to capture a fleeting moment more than a lasting one, the evanescent form more than fixity, often by opting for rather peculiar rhythmics, the reality gradually giving way to the imagination, ... the reality transforming into the dream.

Our artistic career

Today, and after so many years, our journey still aims at this lightness of being, traveling and open on the emotional and visual aesthetic, each of our works being in itself a narrative in itself or the sketch of an aesthetic thought in which a totally different look is freely applied, as much to the ordinary as to certain particular features of existence.
