Traditionally I am a painter and a print maker. I want to challenge what mediums my art belongs on. I got very used to painting on flat surfaces and I think it's great that Society6 challenges what your art can become.

My intention is to transform society's perception of rubbish. I am excited by textures and aging. I was walking along the road and I spotted a tyre that was painted pink. The texture hooked me in. As the series progressed I found it was more than textures. Stories of past fragmented outings, memories of taste and communal enjoyment. These are feelings that link products to social gatherings and generally how corporate food entices people to party with their products. But if you focus on what the story is it becomes something else.

I am happy to do commissions, but my primary goal is just getting my art out in the world in a tangible way where it can be used and become a part of a discussion.
