My art and photography is naturally abstract, I often paint to clear my mind and i am inspired by the colours, smells and beauty of nature. I started painting 18 years ago following the loss of my parents, I use painting and photography as a form of relaxation. I love art that lights up a room rather than matches and high contrast photos In black and white that are thought provoking. Most of my photos are taken when travelling or just walking in the street and enjoying a different viewpoint. Acrylic on canvas is my chosen form of painting because the colours pop and are easily varnished for a vibrant finish, I am always learning new techniques and trying different forms of art, photography and crafts.
