Dennis Wymer is a 2021 Savannah College of Art and Design graduate with an M.F.A in painting as well as an 2006 graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA, earning a B.F.A. in Art Education and studied painting & printmaking there as well. He is currently the visual arts teacher at Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, VA. He also teaches adult and teenager painting workshops at Chestnut Creek School of the Arts in Galax, VA.
