Hi! I am Faizan and I am a self-taught artist based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Although I have been passionate about drawing and painting since I was a kid but I started painting professionally in 2015. I think art can fit in almost anywhere in our lives, whether it’s your profession, your way of living, the way your talk, everything is Art. It’s important to me that my work is not simply decorative objects but also have a depth of meaning and emotion. My work can be defined as figurative art that emphasizes on the contrast of impressionism and abstract. I use Oil Paints as a primary medium and often use acrylics for underpainting. I chose oil because of the centuries-old history and a feeling of eternity. Plus, it has an amazing smell.
