Gita grew up in Jakarta, Indonesia and moved to Chicago, US as an adult to work in The Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia. Chicago’s hectic and eclectic city life brought her love for illustration when she is not working and relaxing at her apartment. She likes to make whimsical and cute animals or flowers from home. When she is not making art, she loves to cook, travels, and explores nature.
