Based in Northern California, Sean Hartigan is exploring the abstract relationships between man and nature through his expressionist-style application of oil paint and cold wax to birch wood panel boards. Currently, his works are inspired by the favelas of Brazil. He is teaming up with non profit initiatives there, so that a large portion of the proceeds from the sale of his works will benefit the communities there.
