I am an independent illustrator based in Singapore who draws much of my inspiration from the cartoons, TV shows, and video games he used to enjoy growing up. I focus mainly on creating illustrations that are packed with energy and are often humorous. As a former art educator, I would spend most of my time off of work to draw as a means of healing and meditation to combat his rising levels of anxiety. In an environment where I felt I could not quite speak up, I would transform my obnoxiously loud thoughts into emotionally charged illustrations instead. I have recently left the teaching service to develop and pursue my own artistic identity.
