Trees & nature. I started out doing black & white photography on 35mm film and working in the darkroom. I now primarily shoot with a Nikon DSLR or my iPhone. Much of my work is from photo hikes as I find trees to be a soothing presence. Other photos reflect my travels. I've lived in Philadelphia, Los Angeles, and Seattle. And each city has its own gift to give. A common theme you may see is the idea that life springs from death. Nature is perpetually in this cycle of creation and destruction. That is reflected in my photography.
