Colors, shapes, textures and ideas have always sparked my curiosity. I am Jessica Maine Akins, artist, educator, mom, and wife. I grew up in Albany Georgia, and moved to Valdosta Georgia in 1996. I attained my B.F.A. in 2003. I've taught art to all ages from 3 to 83! I love being with eager art students and sharing my art experiences with others! My passion is music and painting to the sounds of my favorite artists. I love all genres of music. In music I find creativity and color, rythym and pattern.
