Mixed media is my own personal soiree. Each day I come to the studio, I am welcomed by color. Color on my paintbrush that can be bold and forthcoming, and color of the pastel, pencils, and paper that can be delicate and timid. I love being around all of these colorful media and each day holds a new conversation. My latest work starts with intuitive brushstrokes, letting color and texture lead the way. I blend hand painted and found papers in to create abstract collages of places I have traveled.
