Danish illustrator Line Beinkamp combines her formal education in literature with self-taught artistic skills to create visual stories inspired by folklore and fantasy. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Literature from the Institute of Art and Culture at Copenhagen University with a final thesis on Imaginary World Building - something she also applies to her artistic practice.

She has been drawing since she could hold a pencil and has always been fascinated by fantasy, but she has also studied and worked with artforms like impressionism, cubism, expressionism, surrealism and naturalism via her master degree.
