Megan Ciraolo

I am a textile artist from Maywood, NJ. Growing up, I would go into New York City, to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, sketching artifacts from ancient worlds. This as well as a trip to Italy, sparked my interest in art history, which I minored in at school and continue to pull inspiration from. Studying fibers at the Savannah College of Art and Design, I learned the techniques of screen printing, fabric dyeing, sewing, weaving, and various ways of embellishment. I enjoy utilizing these techniques in my work to create textiles and accessories filled with intricate patterns.
