Mindy Yong currently resides and creates work in Mountain View, CA. Growing up, Mindy’s time was split between the United States and Malaysia, her mother’s homeland. Going back and forth between two countries with such divergent cultures and social structures opened Mindy’s eyes to both the immense differences and yet incredible similitude across the vast range of human experience.

Mindy’s work explores the linkages between human intimacy, empathy, and kinship in the hopes of inspiring a sense of harmony, understanding, and closeness in viewers of disparate backgrounds.
