Hey there! My name is Miriam Ortwed & I am a freelance illustrator and multidisciplinary designer. My work typically incorporates quirky details and consists of a varied blend of hand-painted brushwork and clean vector illustrations.

My inspiration comes from all the little things in life. I'm currently based in Copenhagen, Denmark, but I aim for freedom to work from anyplace I choose. I travel when I can and get inspired by other cultures and sceneries, but everyday life brings heaps of inspiration too. Just keeping eyes and heart open.

Best moment of my life: Looking in to the eyes of my mini-me for the first time.

If I could change one thing about myself, it would be: to cure my addiction to South Korean series on Netflix.

My future goals: Live out the mermaid in me and live by the ocean...or have a pool.
