Mostly love it

I got my comforter and I like it but things didn’t seem 100% right. When I went back at the pictures to look they were a bit misleading. There wasn’t much red on the bottom as my comforter has and the corner was folded so you couldn’t see the giant sun on it. I am happy with my bedding just think it was pretty misleading per pictures on the website.

It is beautiful but...

The comforter is beautiful. But I have a couple issues. I washed it before use as instructed. The following day after I first put it on my bed, the bedroom smelled with what I am calling VOC's. My husband noticed too. So I washed and dried it again. It is better. It has been on the bed for over 1 week now, and I do not notice it. I also got the pillow shams. I thought that these are cotton and the fold marks are still present after washing and drying twice. I am not a fan of ironing. But I would think that the fold lines would come out in the wash and dry cycles. Same with the comforter. So I am wondering what chemicals were used to make the design that changed the characteristics of cotton.
