Indigo blues Laptop & iPad Skin

I'm a huge supporter of Society6 and all their products, but for some reason I really struggled with this laptop sticker and am still not sure if what I received (twice) was a mistake or just what the product is like. The sticker came with a pretty obvious perforation that looked like you could just peel it off and stick that on your laptop cover, but wouldn't actually peel off. Society6 was kind enough to send me a replacement, but both came like this and both required me to cut the design out and even following the line of the perforations, it didn't fit quite right. I managed and ended up cutting the corners with a razor blade, but really think it should be easier than this. Am I missing something?? Otherwise great product and great quality, but man, way harder than it needed to be haha.
