Press For Champagne Hand & Bath Towel

Let me first say that I have ordered a shower curtain and duvet cover from Society6 before and have been very happy with my purchases, however, these towels were the exception. I ordered the "press for champagne" design because is white and gold to match a room decorated in white and gold with small red accents, but unfortunately these aren't really white. They're more of a pale lavender. I had to immediately look at the website to see where I went wrong- but confirmed that they definitely looked white online. They're also more like a velour blanket than a towel. The side with a design has the thick velvety feel and the opposite is more like terry cloth. I tried wiping water off the vanity, but all the towel does is spread it around. After one wash & dry they have attracted all of the microscopic fuzz of other towels and I can't shake it off (I guess that's my fault for not washing them on their own). I'd downgrade them to cleaning rags at this point, but that won't work because they aren't absorbent. Society6- I love your other products, but $30 for these two hand towels (after shipping) just isn't worth it.
