I didn’t anticipate an issue with my order, but for most likely shipping reasons, my order was broken apart into two separate orders. One part of the order was received within a reasonable shipping period of tome and was trackable. After waiting two additional days from receipt of the first part of the order, I made an inquiry to Society 6 via email with requested attachments for assistance with the status of the other part of my original order. Society 6 posts they will redound within 24 hours. Sure, they responded immediately with a standard “we got your inquiry and are working towards resolving”...yadda yadda yadda. If the artist simply cannot fulfill the order just let me know. If the order is lost, let me know. I’m happy to work with anyone, but you’ve got to let your customer know what’s going on. The standard “there may be shipping delays” prominently displayed is one thing, but when my order is sitting in a status “to be “tendered by shipper” with no updates for 6 days and no response to customer inquiry in 3 days I will shortly be evaluating if the hassle is worth it and may ultimately cancel my entire order and return the item sent and ask for a refund. I’m not receiving free shipping as I paid for the shipping services. Hope the department responsible for responding to customer inquiries will receive this and act. I apologize to the artist if this is not in your care, but you should evaluate your partnership(s) with Society 6 and perhaps consider moving to another platform. I love the artist’s work and this is unfortunate for them and hope it sheds light onto what is or isn’t happening once the product moves to shipped status.
