I am an Ohio artist who focuses on bringing escapism and sanctuary through acrylic and watercolor painting. I believe in the transportive quality of artwork. Paintings are windows whose views we control. In our spaces, paintings bring a moment of bliss, calm, energy, revitalization, adventure or peace. The arts in their many forms are a part of my very core. My work in the performing arts and literature often inspire my paintings. In my subjects and brush strokes, you will see the influences of the Impressionists, Japanese brush work and the Art Nouveau movement.
