Based in the Boston, MA area, Meral is a visual/graphic designer, illustrator, photographer, and Creative/Art Director. Her work has appeared on and in an array of books, magazines, products, web sites, educational and marketing materials.

Meral's illustration work is created in Adobe Illustrator, sometimes with an added mix of Photoshop. She looks for new ways of seeing things—hence her business name, VisPer, a shortened version of Visual Perspectives.

She loves illustration because of the unique individualistic vision an illustrator brings to each piece, and photography because of how it can capture a moment in time that may never be seen again, or may otherwise never be seen.
