Ashley Kurtz is an artist based in Ontario, Canada who uses acrylic and encaustic mediums. Encaustic is an ancient medium made of beeswax and demar (pine) resin. Ashley's images explore the push and pull of the calm and the chaos of life and often depict feminine strength through abstracted florals and movement pieces.
