am a self taught artist from Sri Lanka, currently living in the United Kingdom. My work is mostly inspirations of places of travel and landscapes I see on a regular basis. The techniques of painting is predominantly based on the medium I use on each piece. When using oils, I like to concentrate on the lighting at the time in several layers. and pick out details that would bring out the story of the landscape in an abstract format.
