ADINNA® is a painter and photographer living and working in Dallas, Texas, United States. Born 1978 in Bucharest, Romania, ADINNA’s early work influence consists in the realms of fauvism of Henri Matisse. Later, the artist stepping into introspective and self exploration, resonates with School of New York abstract expressionism, the most prominent art current shaping the mid 20th century, after the second world war, and extending to present times. ADINNA® started drawing and painting as a child. Growing up in a family of artisans originally from Transylvania, she was educated in the practice of arts and artisan crafts from an early age. She finds her inspiration in nature and the time spent at her family country homes, learning the creation of decorative objects from Earth-based ingredients. Situated on ancient grounds with breathtaking natural beauty, she grew up surrounded by myths and legends, wisdom teachings and art. Childhood memories, the light, colors and textures, are expressed in her paintings and photography.
