One of my favorite herbs, the African Blue Basil is year round, has medicinal and culinary applications. I always keep a cutting on my desk, the sharp, camphor smell always gives me energy and clears my mind for creativity!

I'm just starting out and putting my works up online, and I'll be honest... I've never felt so vulnerable and excited!

I'm based in Southern California, I live with my daughter, 2 dogs, 5 chickens, 2 fish, a turtle and lots of vermicomposting worms. I love animals and all things homesteading, it's my dream to live sustainably on a little farm. Don't get me wrong, I love my high heels and press-on nails too, just don't have much use for them in quarantine.
