Aidan Loughran was born and raised in rural upstate New York. After graduating from Temple University with a BA in Film and Media Arts, she began photographing weddings. After shooting weddings for several years she left the industry to pursue a more active role in her community, becoming a photographer for The Equity Coalition, a community organization focused on the underrepresented and underserved people of Philadelphia, including the LGBTQ, minorities, and the homeless. She is a graduate from the International Center of Photography’s Documentary and Visual Journalism program in New York. Currently she freelances for NurPhoto Agency, a media and news company.
