Airpix, featuring the art of Dinesh Boaz uses photography as a medium to capture the architecture in our everyday lives but from perspectives that are far from the ordinary. Dinesh has been studying, shooting and developing his craft and the art of photography for over a decade and he always been drawn to shoot patterns, contours and colors in our landscapes with strong angles with deep depth and shadows.
The aerial perspectives series started in early 2016 and have developed into a sensation of taking the photography medium into a whole new range of canvases. All of the work is shot from helicopters in NYC, Miami and LA and taken anywhere between 900ft and 2500ft above each city. The work can be especially challenging since the doors on each flight are taken off to offer a direct view for his camera. All the work is shot in fast moving conditions with ever changing light, epic heights and windy jet streams.
