THE DRAGON PRINCESS OF KOMODO

This collection is inspired by the people of Komodo National Park in Eastern Indonesia, and their oral traditions, which are represented in the book The Dragon Princess of Komodo & Other Folktales. I visited Komodo and immersed myself in the culture to ensure that I really caught the spirit of these peoples in an authentic way. After returning to Bali I discovered not to simply enter the storytelling, cautionary tales, and fables, but also go into the realm of romantic dreams, animal magic, bewitching tribulations, and untold wonder.
