Alex Moore, born in Wichita, Kansas, is a painter and mixed media artist whose work revolves around concepts of the body and landscape. He received his BFA in painting from Wichita State University, Magna Cum Laude, in 2018. Moore was a Miller Trust Scholarship and George Sawallis Excellence Award winner in 2017. Moore had his debut solo show in 2015 at Cadman Art Gallery in Wichita, Kansas. Moore worked at WSU Shiftspace, the university’s student gallery, and lead the Shiftspace Student Organization in art events and performances aimed at engaging the university’s student body.
