Alia has only been knitting since July, 2016. Taking to it immediately, she quickly jumped into lace projects, working in the round, working with dpns, colorwork, cabling, twisted knitting, and even brioche. An adventurous knitter since the start, there is no technique that she is not willing to try!

When she’s not knitting, thinking about knitting, planning what to knit, or admiring her stash, she’s practicing business and technology law in Orlando, FL and writing science fiction novels (available on Audible for listening while you knit).

Alia began designing her own patterns in 2018, and her focus is on contemporary knits that remind her of some of the amazing people in her life, each one named after a person special to her.
