Alicia Asselta lives in Berwyn, PA with her husband and two daughters. Having a fascination with art from a young age, Alicia began her art training in high school and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art and Graphic Design from Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA. She furthered her studies with additional coursework from Studio Arts Centers International in Florence, Italy. Working primarily with oil paints on canvas and board, her work features subjects ranging from food and florals to farm animals. Influenced by the work of Georgia O’Keefe, Alicia’s hope is to capture the emotion in her subjects with vivid color, aggressive brushstrokes, and bold composition.
