Amandala Designs

Amanda Forster is a 23 year-old American artist creating hand-drawn and digital artworks, with a passion for sacred geometry and mandala art. She grew up in a household full of creatives and has loved making art for as long as she can remember. She stumbled upon sacred geometry shapes and symbols on Pinterest when searching for inspiration for her next mandala back in 2016. Needless to say, she didn’t find what she was looking for and was determined to create it herself. Amanda is fascinated with sacred geometry and it’s relation to the natural world. Sacred geometry forms and symbols exist all around us—from the Flower of Life, to the Fibonacci sequence and the Golden Ratio; these ancient sacred geometric forms represent the building blocks of our physical universe. “In nature we find patterns, designs and structures from the most minuscule particles..to the greater cosmos. These inevitably follow geometrical archetypes, which reveal to us the nature of each form and its vibrational resonances. They are also symbolic of the underlying metaphysical principle of the inseparable relationship of the part to a whole...it is the principle of oneness underlying all geometry that permeates all form. This principle of interconnectedness, inseparability and union provides us with a continuous reminder of our relationship to the whole, a blueprint for the mind to the sacred foundation of all things created.” — Bruce Rawles (Sacred Geometry Introductory Tutorial) From the structure of a pinecone to the anatomy of the human body, and even celestial bodies and planets, these geometric patterns can be found almost anywhere. Amanda believes that sacred geometry has the power to raise consciousness, or at least remind people of the beauty and harmonious patterns found in nature. She has found great joy in learning about sacred geometry and it’s relationship to science, mathematics and the natural world, as well as well as art and spirituality. Amanda is an artist at heart and genuinely loves creating art for her loved ones and others. She strongly believes that art should be available for all to purchase. She aims to make it so anyone can purchase her art, as she believes in the power of having beautiful art in ones home. Just like music, chocolate and flowers; art is just good for the soul. ✨🎨
