About the Artist

VampKira is a Chicago based multidisciplinary artist who loves everything Tiki, Geeky and Strange. Her surrealist style has both a colorful and dark side. She attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has studied advanced painting, film and animation. She continues to create artwork using various mediums in her work. VampKira is owner of Pryzm Arts, a BYOB painting studio in Pilsen, and curator of the annual Pintura Obscura - a Dark and Whimsical art exhibit.
