With a keen eye for composition and a knack for pulling striking abstract imagery from seemingly ordinary places & objects, L.A. basist/songwriter Derrick Anderson makes his Society6 debut.

Anderson has performed, toured & recorded with The Bangles, The Kinks' Dave Davies, The Smithereens, Matthew Sweet, Psycho Sisters, Translator's Steve Barton, The Cowsills and others.

"I think I've always had an eye for the abstract, being influenced by Miro, Kandinsky, Mondrian and Picasso in my younger years and I tend to naturally gravitate to the value of negative space, compositionally. I like to think all of that is inherent in my photography. It all comes down to that feeling I get when I look at objects a certain way and say 'I see something in there, I just need to find it.' You just have to keep yourself open."
