Hi and welcome to my Shop! I’m a librarian by trade but an artist by heart. I was moonlighting as the Genealogy Librarian for the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum. By moonlighting, I mean that I’m an artist, graphic designer, writer, researcher whose Clark Kent-like secret identity is a librarian with glasses, a bun, and a cardigan. Now I'm pursuing art having donned my cape and artistic superpowers!

About 3 years ago I needed to fill an evening and decided to take a watercolor class at the local community college. I knew I could draw and had taken a drawing class in college, but I had no idea I could paint. After a few classes and having made friends with the teacher, I discovered that not only was this my passion but I was actually good at it.

So after more classes, a lot of practice, and significant guidance from the watercolor teacher I now call mentor and friend, I've started this online shop to sell my art. I hope you enjoy it and appreciate your patronage!
