Annie has always loved to sketch, doodle, scribble, and color. Her childhood was filled with creative outlets. Her mathematician Mom built fabric windsocks while her artist Aunt had her drawing Picasso-like drawings at age 6. Her grandfather, a woodworker had her sketching toys at an early age and she inherited her Dad’s doodling abilities to capture the humor of everyday life. After an inspirational family trip to Italy after graduating high school, her love of drawing grew into a passion. As a trained interior designer, her drawings are created very much like a progressions of floorplans. The ideas are sketched on layers of trace paper until the essence and vibe of a place or experience is captured. A proud Auntie of seven nieces and nephews, she looks to provide the inspiration she was given in her youth. Her goal through drawing is to share the fun, energetic excitement of places where she has traveled.
