When I am painting, I imagine paint flowing throw my fingers, as if it is what I am made of, somehow embedded in my DNA. I paint and draw to ground myself. Through the process of painting a piece, I connect with my inner spirit by meditating and focusing my energy, with intention, to infuse positive emotions into my paintings. It is my sincere desire for my paintings to bring about a positive emotional response in the people viewing the art, in such a way, you can feel in the intended emotion in your heart and mind. Even more wonderful than the paintings, is my personal growth. As I embrace these positive emotions, the possibilities come alive in me! Along with a connection to other artists around the world, my work is a way for me to support my community, commemorate my life, and leave a legacy.
