Cuban born, Sergio Rivero “El Haitiano”, combines his life encounters, Afro-Cuban culture and unique perspective in his artform. A self-taught painter, he was inspired by Cuban cinematic landscapes, spiritual rituals, and music. His paintings will serve as a historic marker to a fading era of the Cuban experience.
