My name is Monica Joiner and I'm originally from Galveston, Texas. I grew up in Arlington, Texas where I do most of my creative art work. I sign my work under the artist name M Joiner.

I find inspiration in many places and have traveled to a number of places, which has influenced my creative style and process. I create art because it is a passion of mine that I really enjoy. I specialize in acrylic painting, pencil, and charcoal drawings.

I have yet to exactly define my still because I find that I am inspired by many different styles. I am motivated by family, life, other artist that have helped me develop along the way. I have been creating art for over 10 years, with painting being the most recent thing I have started. If I could define my work in one word it would be “unique” in that I love creating thing never seen before. I connect with the art community by attending Arts Festivals and supporting other artist. My work has been shown online mostly, but I am looking to get it out in other places.

I intend for others to experience my passion for art and believe that anyone can create something beautiful, when they see my work.
