Mumbai born, currently based in Muscat, I come from an advertising and publishing background. After working for 13 years in advertising and publishing, I decided to take a break to give time to my energy filled toddler. While I was on this so called break from work, I came upon Zentangle, it caught my fancy, and there has been no looking back. The complexities and detailing, hours of work that are spent, the outcome is satisfyingly pleasing to the soul. To me it is the art of the soul and mind. It teaches you patience and focus. It connects me to my inner realms. The complex designs made of simple strokes, called tangled — each playing its part to form something meaningful. This form of art to me is like the complexities of simple things and relationships. I dabble in other mediums of art too, but nothing is more fulfilling than creating a piece of art with Zentangle. I like to call my self a Zentanglist!
