Atiya Jones is a mostly autodidactic creator of abstract wild things and patterns, which she enjoys putting down on paper as well as on surfaces, including tabletops, postcards, construction panels and textiles. Her work is influenced by all that stuff she thought she wasn’t paying attention to in biology and chemistry class, as well as the stories of women in her life and those who remain strangers.

She genuinely believes that art is and should be everywhere, and probably wants to make something for you this very moment.
